Terms and Conditions for Atlantic Way Golf

These Terms and Conditions  govern all bookings made with Atlantic Way Golf , an Irish golf tour company specializing in organizing golf tours for  tourists to play at top golf courses in Ireland. By booking a tour with us, you  agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and Payment
2.1 Booking Process
Bookings can be made through our website, by phone, or via email. A booking is confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.

2.2 Deposit and Payment Schedule

  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking.
  • The balance of the tour cost is due 12 weeks before the start date of the tour.
  • If the booking is made within 12 weeks of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • A reservation will also not be confirmed until such time as our company receive a returned signed copy of these terms and conditions by email

2.3 Payment Methods
We accept payments via [Credit Card, Debit Card, Bank Transfer, PayPal]. All payments must be made in [Currency  EUR].

A fee of 3% applies to all Credit Card, Debit Card and PayPal payments.  In such cases, this fee will be clearly explained by a member of our staff before the booking is completed.  This fee is NOT charged by Atlantic Way Golf, and is charged by the relevant payment processing companies.

Where payments are made by Bank Transfer, clients must make payment in EURO and are liable for any charges incurred by their own Bank in processing this payment.

2.4 Currency Exchange
The tour price is quoted in [Currency] and is based on the exchange rate at the time of booking. Any fluctuations in currency exchange rates after the booking are the responsibility of the Client.

3. Tour Packages and Inclusions
3.1 What’s Included in the Tour Package
Each golf tour package typically includes:

  • Green fees for the specified golf courses in the itinerary
  • Accommodation at [types of hotels, B&Bs, or resorts

3.2 Not Included
The following items are not included in the package:

  • Flights to and from Ireland
  • Personal expenses (e.g., meals not specified in the itinerary, souvenirs)
  • Travel insurance
  • Golf equipment rentals
  • Additional tours or excursions not mentioned in the itinerary
  • Car rental unless stated otherwise 

4. Cancellations and Amendments
4.1 Client Cancellations
If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges apply:

  • More than 12 weeks before the tour start date: Full refund minus deposit
  • [30-59 days] before the tour start date: 75% of the total tour cost
  • Less than 30 days before the tour start date: No refund

4.2 Amendments to Your Booking
You may request changes to your booking (e.g., changing the dates or golf courses), subject to availability and additional fees for any changes that incur extra costs. Changes made within 30 days of the tour may be subject to penalties.

4.3 Company Cancellations
In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather conditions, political instability, or travel restrictions), we will notify you as soon as possible. You will receive a full refund of all payments made. We are not responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred due to the cancellation.

5. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend that all Clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Cancellation or interruption of travel
  • Medical emergencies
  • Lost baggage or personal items
  • Travel delays

It is the Client’s responsibility to arrange and ensure they have adequate insurance coverage for the tour.

6. Health and Fitness Requirements
By booking a tour, you confirm that you are in good physical health to participate in the golf activities included in the itinerary. If you have any medical conditions or special requirements, please inform us at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to play golf and engage in the other activities offered during the tour.

7. Responsibilities and Conduct
7.1 Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for your personal safety and well-being while on the tour. You are expected to behave respectfully and appropriately towards fellow participants, tour guides, and third parties (such as golf course staff and hotel employees). Any behavior deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in your removal from the tour without refund.

7.2 Damage or Loss
You agree to compensate us for any damages or loss you cause to the property of golf courses, accommodations, or transportation.

8. Liability
8.1 Limitation of Liability
Atlantic Way Golf  acts solely as an intermediary between the Client and golf courses, hotels, transportation providers, and other suppliers. While we make every effort to provide excellent service, we cannot be held liable for any accidents, injuries, losses, or damages to persons or property arising from participation in the tour.

8.2 Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including, but not limited to, weather conditions, natural disasters, political unrest, or airline cancellations. In such cases, we will attempt to offer alternative arrangements, but no refunds will be given.

9. Photography and Marketing
By participating in our golf tours, you consent to the use of any photographs or video footage taken during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in such materials, please notify us in writing before or during the tour.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising out of or related to the tour shall be resolved through [arbitration/mediation] or, if necessary, in the courts of Ireland.

11. Data Protection
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We will only use your information for the purposes of organizing your golf tour. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

12. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to Clients prior to the start of their next tour.
